While there are Rare Packs in the game, these only come about once in a blue moon so if there’s a method of guaranteed shinies you’d certainly want to know. This is where bent packs come in in Pokemon TCG Pocket, with many suggesting that these are the key to hard-to-pull cards. Here, we’ll take a look at these bent packs, giving you a definitive answer as to if they make a difference. What are bent packs in Pokemon TCG Pocket? When you’re looking to open a pack in Pokemon TCG Pocket, you’re thrown into a carousel of sorts where you can spin and inspect various packs to choose the one you want. Some players with a keen eye have noticed that if you turn packs to their side, some have a bend in the top section, spawning a theory that because they are different, they have rare cards inside. Do Pokemon TCG Pocket bent packs have rares inside? Despite a lot of claims suggesting that bent packs do in fact contain the rarer cards in the game, they do not and instead, offer the exact same chance as any of the other packs available. The Offering Rates are fixed and no matter which pack you pick in the ‘carousel’ available to you, they all have the same chance percentages. As to why these bent packs are included in the game, we believe that they’re simply a nod to physical packs where they get bent and creased in stores when put on display. It’s a fun little easter egg showing that even though the game is a digital affair, these packs still get ‘damaged’ en route to you.
