I might not have cared for Avatar and already tired of Hollywood shoving 3D down my throat. But if there's one good to thing to come out of its head-exploding success, it's the resurgence of studios looking for original science-fiction material in their tentpoles.Heat Vision says 20th Century Fox (the studio who took the mega-expensive gamble on James Cameron's sci-fi 3D epic that paid off handsomely) thinks they may have found their "next Avatar." It comes in the form of Ion.
