Valeri Nichushkin has returned to Denver, while goaltender Kaapo Kahkonen has arrived, the Colorado Avalanche announced Saturday. Nichushkin remains in Stage 3 of the NHL-NHLPA player assistance program but will be skating and working out away from the team.
