A man wanted on suspicion of vehicular eluding was injured in a shooting with Denver and Golden police during a foot chase near West Colfax Avenue and Pierce Street in Lakewood on Tuesday. Lakewood agents, along with Golden and Denver police officers on the Colorado Metropolitan Auto Theft Task Force, tracked the man to an apartment complex near West Colfax Avenue and Pierce Street, near Casa Bonita and an Arc Thrift Store. Police made contact with the man at around 4:15 p.m.
