Comment on There’s a good argument that Biden’s mass pardons are unconstitutional

Gomer Comer spent his entire time as Chairman holding fake investigations and presenting impeached witnesses to attack President Biden, through his son Hunter. COMER: The Justice Department could say, okay, you've been pardoned from 2014 to today, well, let's look at 2013. Just 2013.

On Friday, the Senate voted to advance a bill that would significantly increase the number of undocumented immigrants subject to mandatory detention and give right-wing judges more power. Most notably, it has done so with help from Democrats who now fear being tagged as weak on immigration enforcement. The Laken Riley Act is named after the 22-year-old Georgia woman who was murdered last year by a Venezuelan migrant in the country illegally.

Lakewood’s elected leaders this week clamped down on new gas stations and car washes opening up in the city, passing an ordinance that establishes buffers to limit eligible sites for new operations. The vote during the City Council’s Monday meeting was 9-0. Lakewood’s move comes ahead of a similar effort by the Denver City Council, which is expected to vote Tuesday on first reading of its own proposed restrictions on gas stations.

Based upon his statements justifying those pardons, he’s effectively legislating, and he has no authority to do so.

The bureaucracy is a power unto itself. That was never the plan.

Conservatives know better, but will anyone listen?
