GAINESVILLE — Florida assistant coach Taurean Green is the target of a sexual assault complaint filed by an athletics department employee, according to an ESPN report. The accuser said Green, the Gators’ point guard of back-to-back national champions in 2006-07, arranged to meet her in March 2024 an on-campus facility. Once there, Green, the report states, “kissed her and tried to put his hand down her pants.” Green attempted again when she denied his advances, leading her to then quickly leave the building. Former Florida point guard Taurean Green, far right, celebrates their second national title with teammates, from left, Al Horford, Corey Brewer, Joakim Noah and Lee Humphrey on April 2, 2007 in Atlanta. The complaint comes amid an ongoing Title IX investigation into head coach Todd Golden.
