Dolphins approaching Jets week as if Huntley will start for Tua

MIAMI GARDENS — The Miami Dolphins will be preparing for the New York Jets in Sunday’s regular-season finale as if Tyler “Snoop” Huntley will start at quarterback for Tua Tagovailoa. Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said Tagovailoa, who is dealing with a hip injury, will be a limited participant at Wednesday’s practice. “I’m approaching it as though I think Snoop’s starting,” McDaniel said ahead of Wednesday drills. The Dolphins coach already said Monday that Huntley would get more practice reps throughout the week over Tagovailoa. At Wednesday’s practice, Tagovailoa was seen throwing warm-up passes, but he did not make throws in other periods of practice open to the media. If Tagovailoa makes improvement with his hip during the week, Miami can alter its plan. “It’s very easy for us to adjust as the week progresses,” McDaniel said.
