DOJ files complaint against CVS for facilitating unlawful sale of prescription opioids

By STEVE LeBLANC The Justice Department unsealed a civil complaint Wednesday alleging CVS Pharmacy Inc. and various subsidiaries filled “unlawful” prescriptions in violation of the federal Controlled Substances Act.
