The dream of a conference championship died last weekend for CU and CSU. But both programs will still go bowling after missing out on its respective title games due to tiebreaker rules in the Big 12 and Mountain West. It’s been eight years since the Colorado Buffaloes and Colorado State Rams went to a bowl in the same year. In 2016, CU earned a bid to the Alamo Bowl while CSU headed north to the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.
