Microsoft has paused the rollout of Windows 11 24H2 to computers that have certain Ubisoft games installed on them as it has been discovered that the latest major end-of-year update is causing crashes in some of the biggest games in recent times. Complaints started coming in that the latest Windows 11 update was causing crashing in certain Ubisoft titles such as Star Wars Outlaws and Assassins Creed games, so Microsoft has moved to switch off the automatic updating for PCs that have any affected game currently installed, and have urged users not to manually install the update until the issue has been resolved. Microsoft published a blog post that said: “After installing Windows 11, version 24H2, you might encounter issues with some Ubisoft games.
