Brave has confirmed it is adding an AI chat mode as an additional offering to its Brave Search function.  The new tool will enable users to ask follow-up questions based on initial search terms, in addition to the AI-powered summaries that are returned with a search result.  This is similar to what is offered by Google, but Brave is going one step further with the option to launch a resourceful conversational search, going deeper as required with real-time data online.  Brave Search was launched to provide an alternative to market leader Google, providing a privacy-first option without browser activity being tracked or profiled.
