Denver police officer arrested on suspicion of attempting to influence a public servant, insurance fraud

A Denver Police Department officer was arrested Wednesday after she allegedly filed a false police report about her car being stolen and a false insurance claim following a hit-and-run crash in 2022, agency officials said in a news release. Beltran, 24, wasn’t in the vehicle during the crash.
