October marked the official kick-off to South Florida’s snowbird season — and 100-plus eateries were ready for the rush with squeaky-clean inspection reports. These “gold-star” restaurants and food trucks made the October 2024 list because not one violation — minor, intermediate or high-priority — was red-flagged at the time of the surprise visit from Florida safety and sanitation inspectors. All told, 63 Broward County restaurants and food trucks notched flawless scores, while in Palm Beach County, 50 passed their inspections without a single problem. Eateries typically are inspected at random every six months to a year, but they’re not required to display their results for the public.
