Disturbance in southwest Caribbean forecast, given minimal chance of development the next week

On Saturday night at 8 p.m., a disturbance was forecast by the National Hurricane Center in the southwest Caribbean Sea. Termed as a broad area of low pressure, the NHC wrote that “some gradual development of this system will be possible through the end of next week while it meanders or drifts northeastward over the southwestern Caribbean Sea.” The system has been given a 20% chance of development over the next seven days. The next storm to form would be Patty.
