Medline couple donates $25M to Northwestern to create new center focused on Alzheimer’s

Members of the family behind Medline — a massive medical supply and equipment company based in Northfield — have donated $25 million to establish a new center that will focus on Alzheimer’s disease research at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Jim and Wendy Abrams and their Eleven Eleven Foundation donated the money, which will endow the The Abrams Research Center on Neurogenomics at Northwestern.
