The AI startup Runway hones in on perfecting video generation as it releases a new AI facial expression motion capture feature. The software company Canva is continuing its pursuit of AI-powered additions as it launches ‘Dream Lab,’ a new text-to-image generator. The feature was officially announced on Tuesday (October 22) through a company news update, with it launching for users on the same day. “Meet Dream Lab, our new image generator designed to transform text prompts into stunning visuals,” writes Canva’s co-founder and CEO Melanie Perkins in the release. The AI generator will be powered by Leanorado AI’s Phoenix model.
