Broward students may have to come back from winter break a day earlier to make up for some of the time missed due to hurricanes Helene and Milton. If the region gets any more hurricanes, they could be forced to cut their weeklong Thanksgiving break by a day or two. The Broward School Board plans to hold a special meeting Tuesday to discuss how to manage the impact of losing three days due to the two recent hurricanes.
