LOUISVILLE, Ky. — In their last two games, the Hurricanes fought back from a deficit and pulled off late wins against their opponent. On Saturday, they were the ones trying to fend off a comeback attempt. Louisville (4-3, 2-2 ACC) nearly matched No. 6 Miami (7-0, 3-0) score for score, but the Hurricanes held off another conference opponent and hung on to win a 52-45 shootout victory at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium in Louisville, Kentucky, on Saturday. For the third straight game, the Hurricanes endured a wild finish but managed to pull out a victory. Miami started the game with a good defensive stand, which would not be a frequent occurrence Saturday.
