Comment on The Courtroom Campaign Ends

Oregon election officials were screening voicemails and emails yesterday after their system was overwhelmed and shut down because of calls from people responding to a false claim that the state’s voter pamphlet doesn’t include Republican nominee Donald Trump. (Yes, there are MAGAts in Oregon.) Via the Associated Press: The pamphlet does list Trump as a candidate, and Trump will be on the ballot in Oregon.

Rep. Nick LaLota (R-NY) admitted at a candidate forum this week that he cannot vote in his re-election race because he doesn’t actually live in the district. LaLota is running against John Avlon (D).

Politico: “Trump is weighing a go-it-alone approach to presidential transition planning, which could dramatically slow his takeover of the federal government.” “The decision not to take federal assistance allows them to raise unlimited funds without disclosing their donors, while avoiding oversight from federal bureaucrats … [But] it will limit the information he and his team can access to understand current federal operations and challenges.”

There’s a classic solution to most of the voter fraud problem, and Democrats are fighting it tooth and nail.
