You can try and tackle these events lower than level 50 but the Special Resistance Medals are a Performance Reward, so you’ll need to be contributing significantly in order to be in the running for one. If you do manage to get a Special Resistance Medal as a reward for your event efforts, you can then use these to acquire Epic Armor Lithographs without needing to own the armor piece beforehand.
