A man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of vehicular assault after running over a person in Littleton and fleeing the scene, police said. Rene Cook, 47, was involved in a minor car crash Monday that escalated into an argument with the other driver, according to a news release from the Littleton Police Department. When the other driver — who has not been identified by police — got out of their car, Cook ran them over and fled the scene, police said in the release. Littleton police responded to reports of the crash around 8 p.m.
