Miami Dolphins wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has been activated to the active roster, the Dolphins announced Saturday afternoon, and he’s expected to to make his debut when the Dolphins (1-3) kick off against New England (1-3) at 1 p.m. Sunday at Gillette Stadium. The Beckham move, which was widely speculated and expected, is one in a chain of events that included releasing quarterback Tim Boyle on Friday and then signing him to the practice squad Saturday, and elevating defensive back Nik Needham to the active roster. The Dolphins also announced cornerback Cam Smith (hamstring) is out for the Patriots game.
