Comment on Palm Beach County voters should keep Maria Sachs | Endorsement

At first glance, Palm Beach County Mayor Maria Sachs and John Fischer, her challenger for the District 5 commission seat she holds, have similar concerns on housing, public safety and transportation. District 5 is west of Florida’s Turnpike between the Broward line and Boynton Beach Boulevard and east of Florida’s Turnpike between Clint Moore Road and Boynton Beach Boulevard. Swaths of this unincorporated district are open space, making it a magnet for developers.
