Deputies in an Arapahoe County drug bust Thursday seized tens of thousands of dollars in cash, methamphetamines, fentanyl, heroin and cocaine, sheriff’s officials said. Around 5 a.m. Thursday, Arapahoe County sheriff’s deputies with the Special Investigations Unit served two narcotics search warrants and made several undercover drug purchases, the sheriff’s office said in a statement on social media. During the operation, deputies seized: One kilo of meth, valued between $6,000 and $15,000 in the United States, according to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. 13,000 fentanyl pills, which could contain between 0.02 and 5.1 milligrams — more than twice the lethal dose — of fentanyl, according to the United States Drug Enforcement Administration.
