Comment on The Stanley Hotel, Which Inspired ‘The Shining,’ Will Become a Shrine to Blumhouse Movies for Two-Day Immersive Experience

Just in time for Halloween, Estes Park’s Stanley Hotel will host a horror-themed weekend that includes interactive events and screenings of a new series from Peacock and Blumhouse Productions. Blumhouse, the company behind frightening films such as “Get Out,” “Sinister” and “M3GAN,” is turning the historic hotel into an immersive experience, according to a statement.

"Our Senate and representatives are all manipulating their own power rather than running the country," Coppola said in a Q&A before the premiere of "Megalopolis" in New York City. "We’re in danger of losing it."

Co-created by Ian Brennan and Ryan Murphy, the series falls short of even being true-crime schlock.

"I don't think you can work with Greta Gerwig and Olivia Wilde and walk away from that experience and not want to write and direct."

Guests will have the chance to stay in rooms inspired by "Insidious," "Freaky," "Happy Death Day," and "The Purge."

And just as strong are Leila George and Louis Partridge in the seven-part series dropping Friday, October 11.
