Here Is the Path ‘Life-Threatening’ Tropical Storm Francine Is Expected to Take

Tropical Storm Francine, which formed near the Gulf of Mexico and is headed northwards, is picking up strength and likely to become a hurricane on Tuesday before making landfall a day later in Louisiana, according to the U.S. National Hurricane Center. [time-brightcove not-tgx=”true”] As of 8 a.m. ET, Francine is about 125 miles southeast of the mouth of the Rio Grande and about 395 miles south-southwest of Cameron, Louisiana.
