Half a million people sign up for gambling self-exclusion scheme GAMSTOP

The UK-based self-exclusion scheme for online gambling GAMSTOP says half a million people have now signed up to the platform, just six years after it first launched. The program is a free tool that allows people to self-exclude themselves from all GB-licensed gambling websites for a period of time, ranging from six months to five years. GAMSTOP says “half a million vulnerable consumers have registered” since 2018.
