Retired Chicago Blackhawks goalie Nikolai Khabibulin in June listed his three-bedroom, 2,300-square-foot condominium on the 37th floor of a River North high-rise for $1.95 million. The Russian-born Khabibulin, 51, signed a four-year, $27 million deal with the Blackhawks in 2005 but struggled to stay healthy and post consistent results. He left the team in 2009 when he signed a free agent deal with the Edmonton Oilers, but he played one final season with the team in 2013, although he only appeared in four games before a hip injury ended his skating in the NHL. In River North, Khabibulin and his wife, Victoria, paid $1.76 million in late 2005 for the unit, which is in the Pinnacle building.
