In 2016, Republicans said that Trump would change after he was sworn in and become more Presidential. That never happened. In 2020, his Republican enablers forgot their 2016 promise and disregarded their hero trying to overturn a fair election. It's 2024, and Trump wants retribution for losing the 2020 race under the guise of saying he was cheated out of the presidency.

Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R) defended former President Donald Trump's Jan. 6 attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election by claiming that Americans who opposed his effort were "in the minority." Liz Cheney (R-WY) was supporting the Democratic presidential nominee because she believed Trump was "unfit for office."
