Republican National Committee (RNC) co-chair Lara Trump insisted Sunday she had "no idea" after appearing on podcasts that Russia allegedly funded. In an interview on NewsNation, host Chris Stirewalt asked Trump if the RNC was concerned after the Department of Justice revealed a Russian influence operation to push Kremlin-friendly messages in conservative media. "I think it's always concerning when there's anyone other than an American citizen or Americans trying to decide and influence American elections," Trump argued.

In 2020, his Republican enablers forgot their 2016 promise and disregarded their hero trying to overturn a fair election. It's 2024, and Trump wants retribution for losing the 2020 race under the guise of saying he was cheated out of the presidency.

Liz Cheney (R-WY) was supporting the Democratic presidential nominee because she believed Trump was "unfit for office." "How do you square [Harris'] record that you just talked about, which is obviously debatable and will be debated, with what happened at the end of the Trump presidency where he did try to overturn a presidential election, tried to overturn a Democratic election?" Karl wondered. "I do think she actually is significantly in the minority here," Sanders pushed back.
