A sushi restaurant with 10 locations nationwide has applied for a liquor license at 1439 Larimer St., a space that is currently home to an upscale shoe store in Larimer Square. Sushi by Scratch, which is based in Los Angeles, offers omakase dinners in small and often luxurious spaces in some of the most expensive zip codes in the United States: Las Vegas, Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, Sonoma County, Seattle, Austin, Dallas Chicago and Miami.
