City officials have announced temporary lane closures on North DuSable Lake Shore Drive between Hollywood and Lawrence avenues from Sunday afternoon through Friday morning. The closures are part of a project to resurface the road between LaSalle Drive and Hollywood that began in the spring and was restarted Tuesday, Sept. 3.

ATLANTA — Walt Ehmer, the president and CEO of Waffle House and a member of the board of trustees for the Atlanta Police Foundation, has died at age 58, the foundation announced Sunday.
