(credit: Getty Images) CrowdStrike’s president hit out at “shady” efforts by its cyber security rivals to scare its customers and steal market share in the month since its botched software update sparked a global IT outage. Michael Sentonas told the Financial Times that attempts by competitors to use the July 19 disruption to promote their own products were “misguided.” After criticism from rivals including SentinelOne and Trellix, the CrowdStrike executive said no vendor could “technically” guarantee that their own software would never cause a similar incident.

Elon Musk’s post-apocalyptic vision for the Cybertruck was never technically possible until these wild upgrades came along. While billed as a post-apocalyptic super truck, in reality, the Cybertruck is actually a mess of manufacturing problems that wouldn’t survive a day in truly dire circumstances. The neighbors bought the homes, built by Habitat for Humanity, within a few months of each other. Jason Pardikes and Mary Moore sat at a table on a backyard patio at a home in Todd Creek Farms, an upscale subdivision of 370 homes nestled among rolling hills near Brighton and stretching over 780 acres. The settings are different, but the four, like many Coloradans, live in homes governed by homeowner associations.

The Kroger Co., parent company of King Soopers and other grocery chains nationwide, is suing to try to block the Federal Trade Commission’s administrative proceeding against the supermarket giant’s proposed merger with Albertsons. The lawsuit, filed by Kroger on Monday in U. S. District Court in Cincinnati, is challenging the FTC’s attempt to block the merger through administrative action as unconstitutional. The proposed merger is being challenged by state attorneys general, including Colorado’s Phil Weiser, in addition to the FTC.
