Alyssa’s Law, which promotes school safety after Parkland tragedy, welcomed in Oklahoma

Alyssa’s Law, the school safety measure gaining national traction after the 2018 school massacre in Parkland, is now law in seven states.  On Tuesday, Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt signed Alyssa’s Law into effect for public schools across the state. Alyssa’s Law requires schools to be equipped with a silent panic alarm to silently alert law enforcement to emergencies or life-threatening situations.
