If customers who take the written test return to the DMV within 180 days, they can complete the driver’s license issuance process without retaking the test, DMV officials stated in the release. Anyone not taking a written test will need to reschedule their appointment, but there’s currently no timeline for when in-office services will be restored, DMV officials said. The department is also experiencing technical difficulties with the state’s credit card processing system, according to Tuesday’s release.
