After more than two decades of waiting, Gladiator 2 is finally here, with the first trailer offering our first look at Ridley Scotts return to the swords-and-sandals epic. The highly anticipated follow-up, which will transport audiences back to the age of the Roman Empire, sees Academy Award nominee Paul Mescal in the lead as Lucius Verus who, much like his childhood idol Maximus Decimus Meridius, will find himself fighting for survival in the Colosseum.
