The Crow Director Insists Its Not a 'Hollywood Remake,' Explains How Itll Differ From the MCU

The upcoming reimagining of The Crow has been met with much criticism from fans on social media, but director Rupert Sanders insists that the movie is not the Hollywood remake that many are expecting. In a new interview with Empire (who have also released a new image of Bill Skarsgrd as Eric Draven which you can check out below), the filmmaker addressed the lower budget of The Crow when compared to other superhero outings, even describing the project as an indie movie.
