"Yellowstone" fans may not have been enough to help "Horizon" beat out other big draws in theaters.Kevin Costner is the latest star to be reminded that passion projects don't always yield big box-office returns.The former "Yellowstone" actor quite literally bet the ranch on "Horizon: An American Saga," mortgaging his property in Santa Barbara and investing $38 million of his own money into the three-hour film, which is intended to be the first in a four-part series about Western expansion before and after the Civil War.
