The Raspberry Pi team has been busy announcing new products and changes, with the latest being an expansion of its AI product line with the new Raspberry Pi AI HAT+. The news was shared through an article on the website on Thursday (October 24) which states the expansion follows “the successful launch of the Raspberry Pi AI Kit and AI Camera.” The AI HAT+ will include the same Hailo AI accelerator technology as the already released AI Kit, but it will include the choice of two performance options. There will be the 13 TOPS (tera-operations per second) model which will be priced at $70 and will have the same Hailo-8L accelerator as the AI Kit.

Nigeria has dropped a money-laundering probe against a senior Binance official, to allow him to receive medical care abroad.  The African nation’s anti-corruption agency was investigating Tigran Gambaryan, 40, and the prominent cryptocurrency exchange for allegedly laundering up to $35.4 million, which they have denied.  As reported by the BBC, the accusation leveled at Binance was that it fixed exchange rates and speculated on currencies.

Apple continues its pursuit of AI as it releases iOS 18.2, the next batch of Intelligence features to developers. On Wednesday (October 23) Apple Developer shared that the “beta versions of iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS 15.2 are now available.” This comes after the iPhone maker first introduced Apple Intelligence in June, with this being the company’s way of getting on board the AI bullet train.

Sports and online betting company BetMGM continues its expansion throughout Europe, as it announces an entry into Sweden. The announcement came from LeoVegas Group on Wednesday (October 23) who said in a press release they are “thrilled to launch its international hero brand – BetMGM – in the Swedish market.” This recent move comes after successful rollouts in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
