Rick Sallinger, a longtime CBS news reporter who spent more than three decades on Denver’s airwaves, died Wednesday night. “Rick passed away peacefully Wednesday night. We are heartbroken,” Sallinger’s family said on social media Thursday. “For 30 years he was a devoted journalist in Denver.
