Department of Health and Human Services adds ASL resources for the hard-of-hearing

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced last week the addition of American Sign Language services to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline for people who are deaf or hard-of-hearing, allowing them to video chat with counselors able to sign with them directly and confidentially.
