Director Osgood Perkins is set to release his highly-anticipated horror film Longlegs onto the world in less than two weeks, but after that hell be debuting a Stephen King project that he says is nothing like his new horror movie. Based on the King short story, Perkins will follow up Longlegs with The Monkey, which was first published in Galley Magazine in 1980, and then made its way into the authors short story collection, Skeleton Crew, in 1985.

We spoke with Brian Van Holt amid the release of his gritty new true-crime thriller Boneyard, which chronicles the real-life West Mesa murders in Albuquerque dating back to the early 2000s, and the ongoing investigation that followed.
