“A chorus of damaging new leaks about President Biden suggest that parts of his inner circle have been compromised by the same deep-seated anxieties roiling the Democratic Party,” Axios reports. “Pressure on Biden to quit the race has been steadily building on Capitol Hill. On Thursday, hours before Biden’s NATO press conference, the calls began coming from inside the house.”

New York Times: “A close look at more than two dozen radio and podcast interviews given by Mr. Biden over the past two years reveals a distinct pattern: In appearance after appearance, the president has been served up nearly identical questions, prescreened or suggested ahead of time by campaign staff members.

“As Joe Biden struggles to contain the fallout from his poor debate performance, a gulf is widening between how the president’s most inner circle and the rest of the Democratic Party — including some in his campaign and White House — view his political viability,” Politico reports.
