James Gunn Explains How His Role in DC Studios Is Different from Kevin Feige’s at Marvel

It's been several months since James Gunn has been actively working on the new DCU, after being named co-CEO of DC Studios alongside Peter Safran. In fact, the director of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was already developing projects with competition from Marvel Studios, directing The Suicide Squad and writing a Superman movie.
