Comment on Some things you might not know about moose hunting outside Maine

We Mainers love our moose, and a sizeable subsection of us loves our annual moose hunt. But we’re certainly not the only place on the planet that has these gangly critters, and other states, Canadian provinces and countries have different approaches to moose hunting and moose management as a whole. That was a takeaway message from Wednesday evening’s public forum at the North American Moose Conference, a gathering of moose specialists that returned to Maine for the first time in 18 years.
