ELDRED — Scott Samuelson first met Dan and Joan Silna at a party in White Lake about 30 years ago. At the time, Samuelson and his partner, Edward Dudek, ran the Bradstan Country Hotel in the hamlet and the Silnas became repeat customers at their bed and breakfast.Over the years, Samuelson and Dudek, now married, have become close friends with the Silnas.But more than two years ago their relationship dynamic reached a new level.
