Providence jewelry company owner admits to tax evasion

PROVIDENCE — The president and sole owner of a Providence jewelry manufacturing company pleaded guilty on Friday to tax evasion.According to a news release from the office of U.S. Attorney Aaron L. Weisman, 47-year-old Byron Urizar, of Lincoln, admitted to diverting a large portion of checks made payable to his business —  B U  Inc.
