Democrat June Speakman notched another election victory for progressives in the East Bay on Tuesday, cruising to victory in a four-way Rhode Island House special election to represent Bristol and Warren at the State House, according to unofficial results.Speakman, a Warren resident and political-science professor at Roger Williams University, received 789 votes, or 41 percent.
