PROVIDENCE — A 45-year-old man has been charged with driving under the influence after police say his truck struck 41 vehicles in the area of Elmwood Avenue Tuesday afternoon."It appears at this point that we have several vehicles hit by this one striking vehicle," Police Chief Hugh T. Clements said, adding that police are now compiling a "lengthy report" due to the number of cars hit.The incident occurred at about 4:30 p.m.
