As soon as Nikola Jokic saw that it was cold-shooting Avery Bradley loading for a 3-pointer, he knew the play had potential. Jokic noticed that Jamal Murray had offered a strong contest and was ready to leak out, and just as Bradley, a 30-percent 3-point shooter this year, launched, Jokic readied for the miss. “Yeah, I knew (a miss was coming),” Jokic said with a wry smile. Jokic caught the rebound, gathered and whipped a fullcourt dime that would’ve made any Broncos offensive coordinator blush. Murray caught the fly route in stride for an easy dunk. “He could play for NFL teams the way he passes the ball,” Nuggets coach Michael Malone said following Jokic’s fifth triple-double of the season (18 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists) and his team’s 121-100 pounding of the Clippers on Thursday night.
